Hey friends;
We are nearing the end of our time here in a city a little outside of Aurangabad and today was a very memorable day! We went as a team to a village to witness a group of 15 new believers in their baptisms. It was so incredible to see them take this step in their relationship with Christ. They are such a joyful group...joy in the sense of an understanding that they are dying to themselves so they live for Christ now. We had the privledge of meeting a woman who has been persecuted for her faith by her own family and now has to live outside her village and hide her Bible from people who come to her home. It was such an honor to meet her and let her know she is in our prayers. Please pray for her with me that she would be encouraged and have hope fill her heart. Pray she would rest in the assurance of who her savior is and stand strong. She is such a precious lady who is very strong in her faith and won't stand down from acknowledging Him as the savior of her soul. Amazing. Today also we had lunch at the village and found out the meat we ate in our curry was rooster! It was very delicious. Tomorrow we head to the Ajenta caves which are a major tourist attraction and should be so interesting to walk through these ancient ruins ...soon to post pictures!

Love you friends. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers. This is the time to press into Him for He longs to be found by us. Blessings to you!

Glory to God

So my friends... I wanted to write about a story that has come about during our time in India that really makes me happy about how the Lord is working here. This happened about 3 weeks ago when we first arrived in Aurangabad. I was with the half of our team that had ministered to the children in a childcare center had arrived before the rest of the team and were so hungry that we feasted on the dinner our host had delivered for all of us to share. We called to see if the rest of the team would be eating with us and understood they'd be fed, so us 4 girls finished the food off.

When the rest of the team arrived, they found no food so they went down to the Hotel restaurant and ended up talking with the restaurant manager. They began talking with him and spoke of many things as he is trying out his English. They had a deep conversation for 1-2 hours and Troy took an opportunity to pray for him and said that the Lord would pursue him. The very next day he dropped by our hotel room and told Troy thank you for praying because someone ran into him at the market and gave him a Marathi Bible and then walked away. This man (Rahul) was perplexed but knew that this was a miracle and answer to prayer because Troy prayed that God would pursue him. Rahul began to read the bible at Matthew and brought coffee to our team to share his testimony while getting to hear the gospel message through an evangacube. He shared his evangacube with the others in restaurant and now has the book 'Mere Christianity' and an mp4 player to encourage his walk with the Lord.

Glory to God! He is at work in these people....and has promised to pursue not only Rahuls heart but yours too.

We have just returned to Aurangabad from being in a village for a week and are heading out again for a place called S... where we will be doing a lot of worship and intercession. S... is the place our hosts will be moving to in May to begin influencing lives for Christ. This is the time to break up the fallow ground and cry out to the Lord to soften these hearts.

Please keep us in your prayers for inspiration from the Holy Spirit in how to pray and be led by him, strength each day, health, team unity.

Love you all...Thank you for your prayers and support.
